A Tugboat Photo Essay / by Jason Joseph

The posts over the last few weeks totaled nearly 20,000 words in 8 weeks. And that was just from 9 posts.....
Time for a little less wordy post.

Shot with a Nikon D800 and 85mm PC-e Tilt Shift Perspective Controls Lens....Because why not add to a swaying boat a lens that takes the twist of 5 knobs to get a good image.... Who doesn't like a challenge?

Images are straight out of camera....not processed. Cropped in some instances.
It's time to let the photos do the talking.

Lesson learned? While wielding a tilt shift lens on a constantly tilting and shifting boat may seem like madness...it makes for a wonderfully fresh way to tell a visual story.
